

Mavericks in Training
Where Future Mavericks Begin.
A fun, introductory pre-team for young athletes to build confidence while learning the fundamentals of motions, jumps, stunting, tumbling, and teamwork in a supportive environment. This team performs 3-5 local exhibition performances.
Programs
Whether you're taking your first steps into cheer or training to compete at the highest level, Desert Elite Mavericks offers programs for athletes of every age and skill level. From introductory classes and tumbling to Prep and Elite Teams, each program is designed to build confidence, develop athletic ability, and inspire every athlete to reach their full potential.

Cheer 101
Designed for young athletes 5 and up, who are ready to explore the exciting world of cheer. Cheer 101 is a recreational class for those wanting to try out cheerleading before making the commitment to a team, or hoping to gain experience. All aspects of cheerleading are taught. Spring class athletes will perform in exhibition at our Spring showcase in April.

Elite Teams
Competing November through early May, in and out of state our Elite Teams are designed for athletes with strong technical skills and competitive experience. These teams train at a high level, focusing on advanced performance, teamwork, and athletic excellence while preparing athletes to compete against the best in all-star cheer.

Novice/Prep Teams
Competing January through April, in-state, our Prep Teams are designed for athletes who want to develop their cheerleading skills in a competitive team environment. With a focus on strengthening technique, performance, and teamwork, Prep Teams offer a pathway to competition with a lower time and financial commitment than Elite All-Star teams.

Tumbling
Classes
Athletes will focus on skill-specific drills, proper fundamentals, and conditioning to safely progress through each level of tumbling.

Whether you're working on tumbling, jumps, stunting, flexibility, or overall performance, private coaching allows athletes to accelerate skill development, build confidence, and receive focused attention from our experienced coaching staff. Perfect for athletes looking to master new skills, prepare for evaluations, or gain a competitive edge.

Open
Gym
Open Gym gives athletes the opportunity to work on skills, build confidence, and get extra reps in a supervised training environment. Whether you're perfecting tumbling passes, refining jumps, or practicing stunts, Open Gym provides the flexibility to train at your own pace while receiving guidance from our coaching staff. It's the perfect opportunity to reinforce skills, challenge yourself, and continue progressing outside of regular classes and team practices.
